Coworkers curry - The Old Post Office community social

Let's get to know each other outside of the (old post) office

I'm going for a curry at Akram's on Thursday 6 October at 6pm.

It would be lovely to get to know a few of you outside of work, and for you to meet one another too - come join me!

I know there's a bit of chatting and introductions at the coworking space, however there aren't many opportunities to connect socially, as we're mostly just getting on with things and often have headphones on.

Akram's is over the road from the coworking space. It's a family-run Kashmiri restaurant that's been on Stirchley High Street for decades. You can look at the menu online beforehand. As it's a BYO place, I'd recommend popping to Stirchley Wines off licence. Stirchley Wines are open until 8pm, they have a range of drinks including an alcohol free selection.

If you'd like to book in for the day/afternoon at the coworking space you can do so through the usual channel, there's no obligation to cowork in the daytime if it doesn't suit your routine on the day. You'd be welcome to come for a drink and natter at The Old Post Office after 5pm before crossing the road. I'm also happy for you to put your bike in TOPO if you're cycling over.

I'll call in to Akram's and make a reservation - so need to know rough numbers in advance, please register on eventbrite if you'd like to come along.

In case it isn't obvious, I won't be paying for the curry - I definitely would if I could - and I won't do a 'split the bill' situation as that's too anxiety inducing! Akram's is wheelchair accessible and you can contact them on 0121 433 4320 if you need to know any further access /dietary info.
