Wax Carving Workshop: Anemone Coronaria, by Ellen-Lou

Join local jewellery designer for a wax carving workshop at The Old Post Office. Ellen-Lou hosts a monthly cut flower wax carving workshop, and in April the flower of choice is Anemone Coronaria - also known as the Palestinian Poppy.

By the end of the workshop you will have learned new skills, chatted to new people and raised funds for a good cause. This is a charity fundraiser event which will see all profits from the ticket price donated to Medical Aid for Palestine.

Funding target

There are 12 tickets available, Ellen-lou hopes to raise a target of £500+.

The casting bill will be covered by the ticket sales and everything else will be donated to MAP.

What happens after the workshop (Casting and collection/pick-up)

After carving your wax sculpture, it will be cast into your choice of brass or silver in the Jewellery Quarter.

The after process takes approximately 4 weeks.

Collect your flower from The Old Post Office or have it posted to you by Ellen-lou.
